Lumina
Embark on an eco-utopian adventure!
This one day demo brings the abandoned city of Lumina to life. Rebuild after a disastrous flood and understand there's space for everyone if you keep hope and work together.

Your family was changed one day after a horrible flood, but years later you return with your mother and a determined few with a single vision: to reclaim what it means to have a home.
You play Te. You may be small; you may be a kid, but even the smallest actions can have large effects.
Talk to your community, find out what they need, and work with the land instead of against it as you develop rooftop gardens and clean energy to prepare for the possible coming of another flood.
How to play
WASD: Move
Mouse: Look
B: Build Mode
E: Interact & Plant
- Use WASD to move and the mouse to look around and explore your surroundings at your own pace.
- When you're near the community hub or rooftop garden, press B to enter Build Mode. Here, you can place things like water barrels, solar panels, planter beds, or benches.
- Press E next to a garden structure to enter Plant Mode and tend to your crops! Also use E to talk.
Complete quests, grow enough food to feed everyone, and fulfill tasks and requests to improve the health and happiness of Lumina. A healthy community is the best safeguard against future natural disasters!
Build Infrastructure
Turn abandoned lots and rooftops into gardens and public spaces specifically created to naturally absorb and drain water and runoff. Everything you build runs on sustainable energy and shared care. From gardens, to solar panels, to benches; each piece of infrastructure affects the health of the ecosystem.

Help the Community Thrive
This isn't a solo mission! The neighborhood is full of people trying to survive and care for each other. You'll meet neighbors, learn their needs, and build trust by collaborating on local projects. With the support from a network of gardeners and tinkerers, you'll make this forgotten neighborhood a thriving home.
